CARE (Community Affordable Residences Enterprise, Inc.) is a non-profit organization that builds affordable housing for the working low-income in Ft. Collins. There are five apartment communities in Fort Collins. CARE advocates for more affordable housing for low-income people and to educate the public and elected leaders about housing issues. CARE also promotes self-sufficiency and healthy neighborhood relations for its tenants. CARE does not serve singles. Families must have a working adult in the family and have a minor child. Men and women are served. The fee is 30% on an individual's gross income.  Follow this link for more information.
